Mheila Reverse Osmosis WTP completed in Iraq’s Basra region – Iraq

A new large-scale reverse osmosis (WTP) has been completed on the banks of Basra’s Shatt al-Arab river, marking an important milestone in resolving the decades-long lack of safe, clean drinking water in Basra Governorate, southern Iraq, it has been announced.

According to a statement by Khatib & Alami, who completed the design review, the Mheila Reverse Osmosis Plant has a capacity of 72,000m3/day.
