In this workshop the main subject is the right choice and implementation of membrane technology in desalination plants for brackish water and sea water in order to avoid problems such as failing pre-treatment or boosting costs and to know about the newest developments in upcoming membranes and applications.

Experts from universities, research institutes, manufactures and operators will give lectures and information on basic principals of water and membranes, the state-of-the-art materials, reveal cost and offer special solutions for special problems and are at your disposal for an open discussion. During the exercises cost evaluation and computer aided plant design will be adept to the students.

The Workshop will feature 4 days of full class lectures, discussions, calculations case studies and a field trip. After a successful exam DME will hand over its certificate to the student. The workshop will be held in English language by renowned experts who will report on achievements, latest developments and solutions in the field of modern membrane water desalination.

The Workshop is equally suitable for management, operational staff and students.
