The 14 th Iran International Water & Wastewater Exhibition is the biggest annual and commercial event in Iran, with the presence of a large number of domestic and foreign companies in this field. In 2018 an official supported German pavilion will be presented by the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) in cooperation with the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA). The German Society for Trenchless Technology e.V. (GSTT) as well as the German Engineering Federation (VDMA) are strongly supporting the event . Iran’s Energy Ministry has released a list with over 150 projects regarding the construction of water treatment plants, sewage treatment plants as well as water and wastewater networks. WATEX is an excellent platform to refresh or establish contacts to potential business partners as well as local representatives and importers. In 2017, 425 companies from 22 countries presented their latest innovations to more than 25,000 visitors.
