CAIRO – 29 April 2024: Egypt plans to tender bids for the establishment of four desalination plants at a total cost of $350 million, with some near Ras El Hikma by mid-July, according to Atter Hanoura, head of the Public-Private Partnership Unit at the Egyptian Ministry of Finance. Hanoura added that 17 consortia have qualified for the tender since nearly a year ago, and they will be notified to obtain the tender documents.  (Source)
