SAWACO Water Desalination implements Pani Intelligent Decision Support at SOJECO Plant in Jeddah – Saudi Arabia

As a leader of desalination in the Kingdom, SAWACO owns and operates several water production facilities with over 250,000 m³/day (62.5 MGD) desalination capacity. SOJECO, a seawater desalination plant, is the third water production facility established by SAWACO in the region that supplies 16,500 m³/day (4.3 MGD) of potable grade water to Jeddah Industrial Cities 2 &3 , factories, hospitals, and private housing complexes. The introduction of the Pani platform will address optimizing the facility’s sea water reverse osmosis (SWRO) operations, reducing downtime, increasing production, and extending equipment life.

The Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC) signed several contracts aimed at increasing water supply to some governorates in the Makkah region as well as ensuring supply to areas without water at a cost of more than SR9 billion ($2.4 billion). LANXESS signs distribution agreement with ICSCO – Riyadh – Saudi Arabia

On November 1, 2017, it signed a distribution agreement for Lewabrane membrane elements with Riyadh-based Saudi company Industrial and Chemicals Supplies Co. Ltd. (ICSCO).
