MRPLâs desalination plant likely to be ready by 2020 – Mangalore – India Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL), which is setting up a water desalination plant near New Mangalore Port in Mangaluru, is expecting it to be ready by 2020. Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) is planning to set up desalination plant in Mangaluru – India The annual report of the company for 2016-17 says that it has got permission from the Karnataka government to set up a desalination plant in Mangaluru.
