Saudi SWCC desal plant becomes operational in record time – Saudi Arabia Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC) said its mega development Al Shaqeeq Desalination Plant has become operational in record time and well ahead of schedule (one-third of the specified time). It is now feeding 42,500 cu m of desalinated water per day to Asir and Jazan, reported the Saudi Gazette.
