Abengoa Water, the water division of the Coxabengoa Group, has announced the successful completion of the final tests for the Taweelah desalination plant in Abu Dhabi. This plant, the largest reverse osmosis desalination facility globally, boasts a production capacity of 909,218 cubic meters per day.

According to a statement from the Media Office of the Prime Minister, this will enable the coalition to complete plans, designs, and initial surveys for the project, without imposing financial obligations on the province.
The results of the negotiation will then be presented to Cabinet for appropriate decision-making.
According to the SCzone press release, the desalination project will be implemented in several phases.
