Desalination Project in Cornwall Faces Setback, Completion Delayed – UK

A project aimed at converting seawater into drinking water in Cornwall has suffered a setback and will now be completed from next summer. South West Water (SWW) initially had plans to have two desalination plants up and running by this September. However, the company has revised its plans and will build just one plant in Par, using seawater from St Austell Bay. The delay is attributed to complications regarding the sale of land.
