The Hydrogen Stream: ERM starts trials for electrolysis, desalination, transport – USA

ERM has launched offshore trials to test critical elements of its Dolphyn Hydrogen process. “Following six years of development, the trials are being conducted in a floating marine environment in Pembroke Port, South Wales,” said the sustainability consultancy. The Dolphyn Hydrogen process combines electrolysis, desalination, and hydrogen production on a floating wind platform. The system transports the hydrogen to shore via pipeline. It does not require an electrical connection.

Manori desalination plant tender being refloated for 15 days – Mumbai, India

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has floated a short tender to appoint a contractor for the long-pending ambitious desalination project at Manori. The civic body couldn’t find a contractor even seven months after floating the tender in December. There are allegations of discrepancies in the tender process.

MPIC unit says Iloilo mega desalination plant ready by 2026 – Phillipines

METROPAC Water Investments Corp. (Metro Pacific Water) said it targets to complete the Philippines’ largest desalination plant in Iloilo City by 2026.

“We’re all focused on that. That will be the biggest desalination for the Philippines. So far, the target is to have it operational by 2026,” Metro Pacific Water President and Chief Executive Officer Christopher Andrew B. Pangilinan said on the sidelines of an event on Tuesday.
