US$200mn Los Cabos desalination plant remains stuck in limbo – US

The 250l/s reverse osmosis plant went to a consortium comprising La Peninsular Compañía Constructora and Acciona Agua, which has a 25-year concession to design, build and operate it. Another contract for the integral improvement of the distribution system went to a consortium comprising FCC Aqualia and Aqualia México for 1.3bn pesos, which now holds a 10-year concession to improve, operate and maintain the system.

Acwa awards EPC contract for $677m Saudi water project – KSA

Acwa Power, a leading developer, investor, and operator of power generation, water desalination, and green hydrogen plants worldwide, along with Haji Abdullah Alireza & Co (Haaco) and Al Moayyed Contracting Group (AMCG), has awarded the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services contract for the 600,000 cu m/day Rabigh 4 Independent Water Plant (IWP) project to a consortium of Power China, SepcoIII and Wetico.
