Saudi Arabia prequalifies 19 companies for major PPP water pipeline – Saudi Arabia

The project will involve the financing, construction and operation of a water transmission pipeline from Ras Mohaisen – to Baha – to Mecca.
The water transmission pipeline will have a capacity of 300,000 cubic metres a day (cm/d) and a total length of 300km.

The IWTP project is likely to include a pumping station and a 300km pipeline to carry the water from the IWP to Baha and Mecca. The project is likely to cost upwards of US$270mn.

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has confirmed that the production capacity of Hassyan Power Complex will double by the end of 2023 as energy demand in the emirate continues to grow.

Dewa has confirmed that the current production capacity of Hassyan Power Complex reached 1,200 megawatts (MW), using the Independent Power Producer (IPP) model.

A further 600 MW will be added in Q4 of 2022, and an additional 600 MW will be added by Q3 of 2023.

Saudi Arabia’s SWCC and NWC in partnership for 15 new water stations – Saudi Arabia

SWCC and theNWC have jointly signed an agreement to better design and implement 15 innovative production stations in less than nine months.

The projects will provide 76,000 cubic meters of desalinated water per day to the Kingdom’s Eastern region.
