The Tseung Kwan O desalination plant in Hong Kong, winner of the CIC Sustainable Construction Awards 2023
The facility will have a capacity of 135,000 m3/day, equivalent to the water consumption of 850,000 people. The contract period is ten years, with a possible extension for another five years.
The construction phase is expected to be completed in May 2024, at which time ACCIONA will fine-tune all system processes to ensure the highest availability.
