Abu Dhabi-based Mubadala Investment Company said one of its entities, MDC Power Holding Company, has signed a joint development agreement with The Federal Electricity and Water Authority (Fewa) to co-develop seawater reverse osmosis desalination plants in the Northern Emirates.

The Fewa was established to cater the needs of the Northern Emirates population by providing world-class electricity and water services, improve the standards of living and achieve sustainable growth by 2021.
