Contracts were signed on Monday for the construction of a new water reservoir for Larnaca Water Board that will be erected at a cost of €3.7m and be completely financed by the EU’s recovery and resilience fund.

The new facility, made of reinforced concrete, will have a storage capacity of 10,000 cubic metres.

The project also provides for new piping, flow metres and other equipment, among other. It will be erected at Klavdia where the water board has its other storage facilities.
