2015 again a group of Companies came together forming and bringing forward know-how in future desalination technologies.
In 2014 the founders of the Multi Client Study “Future Desalination Technology” (MCS FDT) builded up content and structure of the data base. The group was focusing on three modules, 1st desalination technology, 2nd companies and 3rd country profiles. All founders of MCS FDT 2014 now are keeping this data base internally individually to follow up their strategic goals in 2015 and 2016.
Last week the group of founders and additional companies held the first strategic meeting in Duisburg recapturing the work done so fare in MCS FDT 2015. Goals for 2015 have been discussed and formed, results of the work have been presented and an outlook into the second half of 2015 has been was given.
Looking onto the work done so fare two main benefits can be summarized in this way. Information gathered in this data base today are used for marketing and sales as well as for internal technical development. Besides the larger volume of data collected the way how to structure this data enables the new way of analytics.
Incorporating an new approach now also internal data of individual company IP (Intellectual Property) optional can be analyzed jointly with MCS FDT data without leaving the company’s own internal IT zone. This opens a total new dimension of desalination data analysis getting desalination facts very fast and on the spot.
