The Jordan Valley Authority (JVA) has completed preliminary studies meant to implement a comprehensive investment project in areas adjacent to Al Karameh Dam.

The Ministry of Water and Irrigation in a statement on Monday said that the JVA has identified four spots of 3,600 dunums that can be optimised to construct tourist attractions.

The JVA has allocated two spots to establish two seafood restaurants, play areas, parking, small golf courses, agricultural nurseries as well as areas for water adventures outside the dam’s pool, in addition to bicycle rental services, the statement added.
